Xi'an Half-Day City Tour - Shaanxi History Museum and Big Wild Goose Pagoda

This tour of Xi'An includes the Terra Cotta Army Museum, Shaanxi History Museum (or Shaanxi Archaeology Museum if tickets are unavailable), the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, and a walk on the local pedestrian street if time permits.

Since the Terra Cotta Army Museum tour takes up an entire day, visitors who extend their stay in Xi’An for half a day can experience all the history of the city itself. As the region’s capital and doorway to the Silk Road, Xi'An was one of the richest, most well-protected cities in all of China. The renowned Shaanxi History Museum introduces the visitor to area’s rich culture, from Emperor Qin Shihuang to the present day in this walled city.

You’ll end your tour with a visit to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, a symbol of the city. Built in the Tang Dynasty, the square pyramid stands at 60 meters high and seven-story tall. If the time allows, we may have the chance to walk on the famous pedestrian street with the local snack food.
Note: Shaanxi History Museum has the strict limitation for the entrance tickets every day. Once it is not available, you will visit its sister museum -- Shaanxi Archaeology Museum, instead.
